If your company uses the Sales Form, select Add Sale at the top of any page, fill in the sale details and select Submit Sale. The sale is recorded with you as the sales rep and appears in your sales reports. Mortgage companies see Add Loan instead of Add Sale.
Who can do this: Anyone signed in, once a Company Admin turns on Sales Forms in Tools > Add-Ons. Sales Forms is free for every company. Your company may have this turned off. Admins choose which fields the form shows.
Add a sale
Select Add Sale (or Add Loan) in the bar at the top of the page.
Fill in the required fields. Every form asks for the Customer / Order ID, the Customer Name and the sale date. It also asks for the Product and Office unless your company fills them in for you.
Fill in any other fields your company added, such as the customer's address, email and phone, the system size, the sale value, other reps on the sale, or your company's own custom fields.
Select Submit Sale.
When you see "Order ID ... has been recorded. It will appear in your sales reports.", select Done, or Enter another sale to add the next one.
What happens after you submit
You're always the sales rep on a sale you submit.
The sale usually starts with only its sale date. They're added later, for example by an import or your company's integration. Milestone pay on the sale becomes payable only once each date is set.
You can't change a sale from the form after you submit it. Ask your admin to correct it.
On the mobile app
Tap the round + button, then New Sale. New Sale may not be turned on for you in the app even if your company uses the Sales Form. Use the website if you don't see it. See Mobile: add a sale (New Sale).
Troubleshooting
Message or problem | What it means |
No Add Sale button | Sales Forms isn't turned on yet. A Company Admin can turn it on for free in Tools > Add-Ons. Ask your admin. |
"The sales form is not enabled for your company." | Sales Forms isn't turned on yet (it's free; a Company Admin turns it on in Tools > Add-Ons). Ask your admin. |
"This field is required" | Fill in every required field, then submit again. |
"A sale with this ID already exists" | That ID is already in Sequifi, and the form never updates an existing sale. Check the ID, or ask your admin to check the existing sale. |
For admins
Turn the Sales Form on or off in Tools > Add-Ons (super admins).
Choose the fields in the Admin view under Settings > Company > Sales Form (Loans Form at mortgage companies). Under Form fields, drag fields to set their order and choose whether each one is shown and required, then select Save.
If you hide Product or Office, the sale uses the default product and the rep's office.
