Your profile's Organization tab shows where you sit in your company: your office, department, position, manager, team and recruiter, plus your agreement details and any per-period deductions. It's view-only for everyone. If something is wrong, ask an admin to change it.
Who can do this: Everyone can view their own Organization tab. Viewing someone else's needs the Organization view permission and profile access that covers their office and position. Changes are made by admins with Update Employment Package (it needs the update package or transfer permission).
Open your Organization tab
On the web, select your photo or initials at the top right, then View Profile.
Open Organization.

What Is Manager means
Is Manager marks you as a manager in the org chart. It's needed to approve or decline requests (you also need the Approvals permission), shows the Office Performance card on Home, and adds action items for your direct reports' requests. It doesn't add menus. Which menus you see comes from your permission group.
Manager and recruiter are not the same
Your Manager is who you report to. Your Recruiter (and any additional recruiters) brought you in. Where your company pays Direct overrides, they go to your recruiters, not your manager. Manager overrides are paid only if your company uses them. See Overrides.
Getting something changed
You can't edit this tab. Tell your manager or company admin what's wrong. An admin opens your profile in Management > Personnel and uses Update Employment Package. Only Company Admins (super admins) can change your Hire Date here, with Edit Hire Date.
Your department name doesn't decide whether you're paid as a W-2 employee or a 1099 contractor. Your company sets that up separately.
On the mobile app
The Organization tab isn't in the app. Use a web browser.
