Click on the "My Requests" tab. This shows all requests you've submitted and allows you to create new ones.
Submitting an Advance Request
An advance is money given to you now that will be repaid from future paychecks.
Click the "Request" button. This opens the request form.
Select "Advance" from the type dropdown.
Search for and select your name in the employee field. Start typing your name and select yourself from the results.
Enter the amount you're requesting. Be specific about how much you need.
Add a description explaining your request. Include why you need the advance and any relevant details. For example:
"Requesting $500 advance on pending pipeline to cover moving expenses"
"Need advance for first month rent while waiting on commission payout"
Upload supporting documents if applicable. If you have documentation that supports your request, attach it here.
Click "Submit." Your request is sent to your manager or admin for review.
Submitting a Reimbursement Request
A reimbursement pays you back for approved business expenses you covered out of pocket.
Click the "Request" button.
Select "Reimbursement" from the type dropdown.
Select your name in the employee field.
Enter the exact amount you spent. This should match your receipt.
Add a detailed description. Explain what the expense was for. For example:
"Rental car for training week in Phoenix, October 14-18"
"Gas receipts for customer visits, total of 3 fill-ups"
"Office supplies purchased for team meeting"
Upload your receipt or invoice. Click the upload button and attach proof of your expense. This is typically required for approval.

Click the "Request" button.
Select "Draw" from the type dropdown.

Add a description. Explain why you need the draw. For example:

"Clawback on account PID 67890 but account is still active per customer"

Click "Submit."
Writing an Effective Request Description
A clear description helps your request get reviewed and approved faster:
Include:
What you're requesting and why
Specific dates, amounts, or account numbers
Any relevant context or background
Reference to supporting documents you've attached
Example of a weak description: "Need money"
Example of a strong description: "Requesting $300 reimbursement for rental car used during team training in Dallas, November 5-8. Receipt attached. Car was pre-approved by manager John Smith via email on 10/28."
After Submitting Your Request
Once you submit a request:
It appears in your My Requests list. You can see it along with its status.
Your manager or admin is notified. They'll review your request and supporting documents.
The status updates as it's processed. Check back to see progress.
You may be contacted for more information. If your manager needs clarification, they may reach out to you.
Once approved, it moves toward payment. Approved requests are typically paid on the next payroll or as a one-time payment.
Tips and Common Mistakes
Be specific and detailed. The more information you provide, the faster your request can be reviewed and approved.
Attach documentation. Receipts, emails, or screenshots supporting your request make approval much easier.
Submit one request per issue. If you have multiple needs (like a reimbursement and an advance), submit them separately so each can be tracked independently.
Check your request status. Don't assume your request was approved. Check back regularly to see its progress.
Follow up if needed. If your request has been pending for a while, reach out to your manager to ask about its status.
Understand repayment for advances and draws. These aren't free money. They'll be deducted from your future paychecks, so make sure you're comfortable with that.
Use the right request type. Selecting the correct type helps route your request to the right person and speeds up processing.
Be honest and accurate. Submitting false or inflated requests can have serious consequences. Always be truthful in your submissions.
Common Questions
How long does it take to get a response? This depends on your company's process and your manager's availability. Simple requests may be reviewed within a day or two, while complex issues may take longer.
What if my request is declined? If declined, follow up with your manager to understand why. You may be able to provide additional information or clarification and resubmit.
Can I cancel a request after submitting? Contact your manager or admin if you need to cancel a request. You may not be able to delete it yourself, but they can help.
Where does the payment appear once approved? Depending on how it's processed, approved payments may appear on your regular pay stub or as a one-time payment. Check both locations in your pay history.
Can I request something for someone else? Typically, you submit requests for yourself. If you need to submit something on behalf of another person, talk to your admin about the proper process.
