The Sequifi app has no admin settings of its own. What each person sees in the app is controlled on the website: their permission group decides Requests, Approvals, Hiring and Standings, your company's add-ons decide Clock In/Out and New Sale, and your company logo shows at the top of every screen. Earnings, Sales, the + button and Profile show for everyone.
Who can do this: Admins with permission to edit permission groups, for tabs. Super admins, for add-ons under Tools > Add-Ons.
What controls each part of the app
In the app | Who sees it | Where to change it (website) |
Earnings tab | Everyone. It shows the signed-in person's own pay. | Nothing to set |
Sales tab | Everyone. It shows only their own sales. | Nothing to set |
+ > New Candidate | Everyone signed in to the app | Nothing to set |
+ > New Sale | People at companies with the Sales Forms add-on, when New Sale is turned on for them in the app | Tools > Add-Ons (Sales Forms). Fields: Settings > Company > Sales Form |
Requests tab | Super admins, and groups with the Requests & Approvals policy | Permissions > Groups |
Approvals (inside Requests) | Super admins, and groups with the Approvals permission under Requests & Approvals | Permissions > Groups |
More > Hiring | Super admins, and groups with the Hiring policy | Permissions > Groups |
More > Standings | Super admins, and groups with the Leaderboard policy, if your company uses the leaderboard | Permissions > Groups |
More > Clock In/Out | Everyone, when the Clock In/Out add-on is active | Tools > Add-Ons (Clock In / Clock Out) |
Logo at the top of every screen | Everyone | Your company information (logo, or business name if there is no logo) |
Job titles and the Is Manager setting don't add tabs in the app. Only the permission group, super admin status and add-ons do. If none of the More items apply to someone, More opens an empty menu.
Change what a group sees in the app
On the website, switch to the Admin view and open Permissions > Groups.
Open the group from its Actions.
In the group's Standard (worker) policies, turn on or off Requests & Approvals (and its Approvals permission), Hiring or Leaderboard.
Select Save Changes.
Ask the people in that group to sign out of the app and sign in again to see the change.
People get their group from their position's Permission Group. A super admin can also set one person's Permissions Group in User Management.
What the app doesn't do
There is no admin view. Admins and managers see their own earnings and sales, never the team's. Payroll, reports, settings, timesheets and team views are on the website only.
Workers can't submit requests, change banking, tax or profile details, change their password, sign documents or upload an ID or document in the app. Send them to the website for these; the What you can and can't do in the mobile app article lists each one.
The app doesn't send notifications about pay, requests or hiring. Its notifications are for Sequifi Support chat replies.
Troubleshooting
A worker can't see Requests: check their permission group includes Requests & Approvals, then have them sign in to the app again.
A worker sees "Clock In/Out is not enabled for your company": the Clock In/Out add-on isn't active.
A worker sees "The sales form is not enabled for your company.": the Sales Forms add-on isn't active.
