You can open your own profile; the tabs available depend on your company setup. Other people at your company can see it only if their permission group gives them access to profiles in your office and your position, and then only the tabs their group allows. Profile display fields mask your Social Security Number, EIN and bank account numbers. Authorized editing workflows have separate permissions. Your password is not displayed.
Who this is for: Everyone. Who can see what is set by your company: Company Admins (super admins) and admins who can edit Permissions > Groups.
Who can see your profile
Person | What they can see |
You | The profile tabs available for your company setup. |
Company Admins (super admins) | They have the widest access, including View As, which shows the app the way you see it. |
Anyone else, including managers and admins | Your profile only if their permission group's profile access covers your office (their own office or all offices) and your position. Each tab then needs its own permission: Personal Info, Organization, Commission, Tax Info, Banking, Documents, Network and Audit Log. |
Your job title doesn't decide this. A manager sees your profile only if their group allows it. If you work from more than one office, people with access to any of those offices may see you.
Your pay
You can open your own available pay information. Other people need the relevant pay or report permissions and access to your profile; being your manager alone does not grant access.
What stays hidden
Social Security Number shows as xxx-xx-1234.
EIN, Account Number and Routing Number show masked.
During View As, tax and banking details are hidden and can't be changed ("Tax and banking details are not available while viewing as another user.").
Your password is stored so that nobody, including admins, can read it.
How you know something changed
Profile changes can generate a confirmation email; the subject and notification settings may differ by company.
Personal Info has a History Log for past changes. Other sections may offer their own history controls.
If your company turned on change alerts, its admins get an email when your banking or tax info changes. The email names the fields that changed, never the numbers.
On the mobile app
The app shows only your own earnings, sales, requests and profile card. People with Hiring or Approvals permissions also see those lists. There is no way to open another worker's profile in the app, except for Company Admins using View As.
Common questions
Can my coworkers see my pay?
Only if their permission group gives them access to your office and position and to the tab or report. If you're worried someone has too much access, ask your company admin to check their permission group.
Can I hide my profile from my manager?
No. Your company decides who can see profiles. Ask your company admin if you have a concern.
