Tips and Common Mistakes
Keep your information current. Outdated contact information can cause you to miss important communications.
Double-check banking details. Incorrect routing or account numbers can delay your pay. Verify everything before saving.
Use the address dropdown when possible. Selecting from the dropdown ensures your address is formatted correctly. Only use manual entry if the dropdown doesn't find your address.
Update tax info if your situation changes. If you form an LLC or change how you receive income, update your tax information accordingly.
Don't share your login credentials. Your profile contains sensitive information. Keep your password secure.
Check your documents tab. Make sure all required documents are signed. Unsigned documents may delay your pay or cause compliance issues.
Review your commission structure. Understanding your comp plan helps you know what to expect on your paychecks.
Contact admin for things you can't change. If you need to update your position, manager, or commission structure, those require admin access. Reach out to your admin for help.
Common Questions
What if I can't edit something in my profile? Some information can only be changed by admins, such as your position, manager, or commission structure. Contact your admin if you need changes to those areas.
How long does it take for banking changes to take effect? Banking changes typically take effect on the next payroll run. If you're close to payday, the change may apply to the following pay period.
Can I have multiple bank accounts for direct deposit? This depends on your company's setup. Most configurations use a single bank account. Contact your admin if you need split deposits.
What documents should I see in my Documents tab? You should see any documents you signed during onboarding, such as your rep agreement, W-9, and any addendums. If something is missing, contact your admin.
How do I know if my changes saved? You should see a confirmation message or checkmark after saving. You can also navigate away and come back to verify your updates appear.
