Tips and Common Mistakes

  • Use the correct temporary password. Copy and paste it to avoid typos. Temporary passwords are case-sensitive.

  • Create a strong password you'll remember. Write it down securely if needed. You'll use this for all future logins.

  • Enter your legal name exactly. This must match your tax documents for proper 1099 reporting.

  • Double-check your banking information. Incorrect routing or account numbers will prevent you from receiving pay.

  • Use a checking account. While savings accounts work, checking accounts are more reliable for regular deposits.

  • Read documents before signing. Understand what you're agreeing to. Ask questions if something is unclear.

  • Complete onboarding promptly. Don't leave it half-finished. Incomplete onboarding can delay your start and your pay.

  • Contact your manager if you get stuck. They can help troubleshoot or answer questions.
