Click the gear icon in the upper right corner
Select "User Management"
Search for the rep by name
Click on their name to open their profile
Option B: Through Management

Starting the Organization Update
With the rep's profile open, look at the upper right corner.
Click "Update Employment Package." A menu of update options appears.
Select "Update Organization." This is typically the fourth option in the list.
Click "Proceed." The update workflow begins.
Selecting When Changes Apply
Before making changes, you'll choose when they take effect:
Review the four timing options:
Apply to all open sales (past and future) Changes apply retroactively to any unpaid sales and to all future sales. Use this when the change should affect everything.
Apply immediately (today onward) Changes apply from today forward. Past sales remain under the old structure.
Select a specific start date Changes apply starting on a future date you choose. Useful for planned transitions.
Temporary changes (start and end date) Changes apply only during a specific period, then revert. Useful for temporary assignments.
Select the appropriate option.
Click "Confirm."
Updating Organization Details
Select the new manager (if changing). Search for and select who this rep will now report to.
Note: If the rep is becoming a manager themselves, you may see an option to indicate this. Selecting it may allow you to assign an office for them to manage.
Update the effective date if prompted. Confirm when this manager change takes effect.
Select the new team (if applicable). If the office has multiple teams, choose which team they'll join.
Update recruiter information (if needed). Change the primary recruiter or add/remove additional recruiters.
Update office assignment (if needed). Select a different office if they're moving locations.
Click "Continue."
Reviewing Override Changes
Organization changes may affect override structures.
Review any override changes. The system shows how overrides will be affected by the reorganization.
Adjust override percentages if needed. If the new structure requires different override rates, update them here.
Click "Continue."
Reviewing and Confirming
Review all changes on the summary screen. Verify:
New manager assignment
Office and team changes
Effective dates
Override adjustments
Check that everything is correct. This is your last chance to catch mistakes.
Click "Save and Finish."
Confirm the changes were saved. Look for the green checkmark or success message in the upper right corner.
What Changes After the Update
For the rep:
Their profile shows the new manager
Their organization tab reflects the new structure
Their org chart updates to show new relationships
For reporting:
Reports now show them under the new manager
Office reports include them in the new location
Team reports reflect the new assignment
For overrides:
Override earnings flow according to the new structure
The new manager (and their upline) may now earn overrides on this rep's sales
The old manager no longer earns overrides (depending on timing selection)

The change is happening now

Temporary Changes

A rep is temporarily assigned to a different manager
Someone is covering during a leave of absence
A short-term project requires different reporting
Effect:
Changes apply only during the specified period
After the end date, the original structure returns
Useful for planned temporary situations
Tips and Common Mistakes
Choose the right timing option. Think carefully about whether changes should be retroactive or forward-only.
Communicate with everyone affected. Let the rep, old manager, and new manager know about the change.
Consider override impacts. Organization changes affect who earns overrides. Make sure the new structure is correct.
Update promptly. Don't let organization records get out of sync with reality.
Document the reason. Keep notes about why changes were made for future reference.
Check the result. After saving, view the rep's profile to confirm changes applied correctly.
Be careful with retroactive changes. Applying changes to past sales can affect already-calculated pay.
Common Questions
Will the rep be notified of the change? Sequifi doesn't automatically notify reps of organization changes. You should communicate with them directly.
What happens to sales made before the change? This depends on the timing option you selected. Retroactive options affect past sales, while "Apply immediately" leaves past sales under the old structure.
Can I undo an organization change? You can make another organization change to revert to the previous structure. There's no automatic "undo" button.
Does this require the rep to sign anything? No, organization updates don't require signatures. For changes that require a new contract, use the Resign process instead.
What if the rep's commission structure should also change? Organization and commission are separate updates. If both need to change, do the organization update first, then update commissions.
Can I change multiple reps at once? Organization updates are done one rep at a time. For bulk changes, work through them systematically.
