View Your Pay Stubs

Your pay stubs give you a detailed breakdown of what you earned and what was deducted during each pay period, so you always know exactly where your money is coming from.

When to Use This

  • You want to see how much you were paid on a specific paycheck

  • You need to review the details of a past payment, including commissions, overrides, and deductions

  • You're looking for a one-time payment like a bonus, draw, or reimbursement

  • You need to download or reference a pay stub for your personal records

Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Accessing Your Past Pay Stubs

  1. Log in to Sequifi. You'll land on your dashboard after signing in.

  2. Click on "Reports" in the left-hand menu. This will expand to show several subtabs.

  3. Click on "Past Pay Stubs." This is the third subtab within the Reports section.

  4. Select the financial year you want to view. Use the dropdown to choose the year, such as 2024 or 2025. This filters your pay stubs to show only payments from that year.

  5. Scroll down to see all your past pay stubs. You'll see a list showing the pay period, payroll date, gross total, any miscellaneous amounts, deductions, and net pay for each paycheck.

Understanding the Pay Stub List

When viewing your list of pay stubs, here's what each column means:

  • Pay Period – The date range covered by that paycheck (for example, September 21 through September 27)

  • Payroll Date – The date the payroll was processed and sent

  • Gross Total – Your total earnings before any deductions

  • Miscellaneous – Any additional amounts added to your pay

  • Deductions – Amounts subtracted from your pay, such as clawbacks or repayments

  • Net Pay – The final amount deposited into your bank account

Viewing a Detailed Pay Stub

  1. Click on the blue pay period link. The pay period date is a clickable hyperlink that opens the full pay stub.

  2. Review the pay stub breakdown. You'll see a detailed view that includes:

    • Wages – Any hourly or salary pay (if applicable)

    • Commissions – Money earned from your personal sales

    • Overrides – Money earned from the sales of others

    • Adjustments – Any corrections or additions to your pay

    • Reimbursements – Money paid back to you for expenses

    • Deductions – Amounts subtracted from your pay

    • Net Pay – Your final take-home amount

  3. Scroll down to see the itemized breakdown. Below the summary, you'll see a detailed list of every account that contributed to your pay. This includes:

    • The PID number and customer name for each account

    • The commission amount you earned on that account

    • The type of payment (such as M1, M2, or service completion)

  4. Click on any category to expand the details. For example, clicking on "Commissions" will show you exactly which customers you earned commissions from and how much you made on each one. The same applies to overrides, reconciliations, and other categories.

Viewing One-Time Payments

One-time payments are handled separately from regular pay stubs. These include bonuses, draws, advances, and reimbursements that were paid outside of your normal payroll schedule.

  1. From the Past Pay Stubs screen, look for the "One-Time Payments" tab. This tab is located near the top of the page, next to the regular pay stubs section.

  2. Click on "One-Time Payments." You'll see a list of any special payments you've received.

  3. Click on a payment to view the details. Just like a regular pay stub, you can see what the payment was for, the amount, and when it was issued.

Accessing Pay Stubs From Your Profile

You can also view your payroll history directly from your profile.

  1. Click on your initials in the upper right corner of the screen. A dropdown menu will appear.

  2. Select "View Profile." This takes you to your full profile page.

  3. Click on "Payroll History." You'll see both your past pay stubs and any one-time payments listed here.

Tips and Common Mistakes

  • Pay stubs and one-time payments are in different places. If you're looking for a bonus, draw, or reimbursement and can't find it in your regular pay stubs, check the One-Time Payments section.

  • Use the year filter to find older pay stubs. If you don't see a paycheck you're looking for, make sure you've selected the correct financial year from the dropdown.

  • Click on the categories to see account-level details. The summary shows totals, but clicking on commissions, overrides, or other sections reveals exactly which accounts contributed to your pay.

  • Projected amounts are different from actual pay. If you see numbers in light blue, those are projected earnings from accounts still in your pipeline. They haven't been paid out yet and won't appear on a pay stub until the account completes.

  • Check for clawbacks if your pay seems lower than expected. If an account canceled after you were paid, the clawback will appear as a deduction on a future pay stub.
