Mobile: pending pay, verifying your pay and paystubs

Check Pending Pay, verify your pay or request a review, and open your paystubs in the Sequifi app.

In the Sequifi app, tap Earnings. Pending Pay shows what you're expected to be paid this pay period, and Paystubs shows what you've been paid. When your company sends payroll for review, the Pending Pay card also lets you verify your pay or ask for a review.

Who can do this: Any worker signed in to the app, for their own pay. Verifying pay appears only when your company sends payroll for review.

Check your pending pay

  1. Tap Earnings, then Pending Pay.

  2. The dark card shows TOTAL ANTICIPATED PAY, the pay period dates and progress through the period.

  3. Tap a card to see its entries: Commissions, Overrides, Adjustments, Reimbursements, Deduct. & Accr. (deductions and accruals), Wages (only if you're paid wages) or Additional Val. (additional values).

  4. Use the search box and status tags (such as Pending, Paid, Clawback) to narrow the list. Entries are grouped into This period and Carried over.

  5. Tap an entry for details such as Pay Period, Pay Date, Customer Details, Job Details, Job Status and milestones.

Cards with $0 move to the end, and negative amounts show in red. Mortgage companies see LOAN AMOUNT and FEE % where others see GAV and NET EPC.

The app has no Reconciliation card, even if the website shows one. Check reconciliation on the website.

Verify your pay

When your company sends payroll for review, you get an email ("Your Payroll Has Been Sent for Review") and the Pending Pay card shows Review Pay Details.

  1. Tap Review Pay Details and check TOTAL PAY and each category. Also check any entries under From previous payrolls.

  2. If everything is right, tap Verify Pay. In Ready to Verify?, tap Verify Pay again. You see Thanks for verifying!

  3. If something is wrong, tap Request Review instead. In Request Pay Review, write what needs attention in Add a note and tap Send. The card then says "Sent to admin".

Verifying covers your whole pay period, not one category. Verify All Pay on a category list does the same thing.

Card message

What it means

"Your pay details for this pay period are available. Please review and confirm they look correct."

Your company sent payroll for review. Check it and verify or request a review.

"Payday is coming up. You have N day(s) to review your pay and request any updates..."

A reminder. You haven't verified yet.

"Sent to your admin. We'll notify you of any updates."

You asked for a review. Your admin has your note.

"Updates have been made..." with a note from your admin

Your admin replied or changed your pay. Review it again.

"Your pay for this period has been verified and looks good..."

You're done. Tap View Request Details to see comments, if any.

Updates about your review come by email. The app doesn't send a notification for them.

See your paystubs

  1. Tap Earnings, then Paystubs. You see TOTAL YTD, a PAYSTUBS card with NEXT PAY DATE and LAST PAY DATE, and a ONE-TIME PAYMENTS card.

  2. Tap a card's header to see the full list. Pick a year, and sort by date, net pay or gross pay (for example Newest First).

  3. Tap a paystub to see PAY PERIOD, PAY DATE, DEPOSIT TO, NET PAY, PAYMENT SUMMARY and EARNINGS SUMMARY, with a section for each category.

  4. Tap View Full Paystub (or View Full Payment for a one-time payment) to open the full paystub on the website. Sign in if asked.

The app can't download or share a PDF. To save one, open the full paystub on the website and use Export.

Troubleshooting

  • "Failed to load earnings data": check your connection and try again.

  • Every card shows $0: you have no pending pay right now.

  • "No paystubs available" or "No one-time payments yet": nothing has been paid to you in that list yet.

  • An amount looks wrong: use Request Review if your company sent payroll for review. Otherwise ask your company's payroll admin, and give them the pay period and the entry.
