When will I get paid?

Where to see your next pay date, how pay moves from a sale to payday, and what to do if a payment didn't arrive.

You're paid on your company's payroll schedule. Your company decides how often payroll runs and when payday is, so ask your company admin to confirm your payday or explain a change. To see what's coming, open My Earnings > Pending Pay for the upcoming pay period, and expand a sale on My Earnings > Commission to review its milestone status and pay period.

Who can do this: Workers, for their own pay. Your company's admins run payroll and can answer questions about your pay schedule.

See when you'll be paid

  • Pending Pay: the dates of the upcoming pay period and your Total Anticipated Pay.

  • Commission: expand a sale to see the Pay Period and Pay Date of each milestone. A blank Pay Date does not by itself mean Projected. Pending lines may have a pay period before their Pay Date fills in after payroll runs. Check Pay Status as well.

  • Requests > My Requests: a Scheduled request is slotted for the next payroll cycle.

  • Reports > Past Pay Stubs: the Payroll Date of each pay you've received.

How your pay gets to payday

  1. A milestone date is added to the sale. The commission line gets a pay period and shows as Pending. Its Pay Date may remain blank until payroll runs.

  2. Your admin reviews payroll for that pay period. They may send it to you to verify first.

  3. Your admin finalizes payroll, which locks the amounts, then runs it.

  4. After payroll runs, your pay stub appears and the lines show as Paid.

How often this happens depends on your company, for example weekly, every two weeks, twice a month, monthly or daily. Timing for commission also depends on when your company records each milestone date. Ask your admin if you're not sure.

Why a payment can be later or smaller than you expected

What you see

What it means

The milestone is Projected

Its date isn't on the sale yet, so it can't be paid yet.

The pay date moved to a later period

Your admin may have moved it to the next payroll.

Do Not Pay

Your company decided not to pay that line. Ask your admin.

A request shows Approved

Your manager approved it, but an admin hasn't scheduled it yet.

A negative line or a Clawback

Pay taken back on a cancelled sale. See Why did I get a clawback?

An advance repayment

Part of an advance you received is being taken back. See Advances.

No Pending Pay in your menu

Your company may have stopped payroll for you. Your pay is then held and carried forward to a later pay period. Ask your admin.

A payment didn't arrive

  1. Open Reports > Past Pay Stubs and look for that pay period. If you cannot find it, check the year and payment type, then ask your admin whether that payroll has run.

  2. If there is one, check Net Pay and Deposit To on the pay stub.

  3. Remember that Paid means Sequifi records it as paid. It isn't a bank confirmation, and your company may have paid it outside Sequifi.

  4. Contact your company admin with the pay period and the amount you expected. Your company is responsible for your pay.

If nobody at your company was paid, your admin should contact Sequifi Support right away and say so in the first message.
